What is Botox?Cosmetic use of Boulinum toxin(Botox) is for wrinkle correction of face. It’s a muscle relaxant injection mainly used to release muscle spam in different neurological disorders, later on it was found to be effective for facial muscle relaxer and thereby reduces wrinkles of face. It uses botulin toxin type A, specifically OnabotulinumtoxinA, which temporarily and partially paralyses the muscle where it is injected. The injection reduces the appearance of facial wrinkles.
